Better Questions. Better Outcomes.
I’m Dr Zoë Douglas-Judson — behavioural scientist, strategist and founder of Mindologists.
For more than 25 years I’ve worked with leaders, teams, athletes and organisations to navigate change, improve performance and unlock potential.
My work sits at the intersection of behavioural science, business strategy and human performance.
Whether I’m supporting a leadership team through organisational change, helping an athlete perform under pressure or developing practical tools for self-discovery, the goal is always the same:
To help people see more clearly, think more effectively and create better outcomes.
About
Throughout my career I’ve been fascinated by a simple question:
Why do capable people sometimes struggle to access their potential when it matters most?
The answer is rarely found in a single discipline.
Performance, behaviour and wellbeing are influenced by far more than thoughts alone. Our nervous system, physiology, experiences, environment, beliefs, relationships and patterns of behaviour all play a role in shaping how we respond to life’s challenges.
In reality, we are whole systems.
Yet most people are taught to view themselves through only one lens at a time.
Over the years I’ve studied across multiple fields including business, behavioural science, psychology, performance, neuroscience and human potential. Not because people need more theory, but because understanding how these pieces connect creates a more complete picture of what drives behaviour and outcomes.
My belief is simple:
A little understanding, applied well, can change everything.
Most people don’t need another qualification, certification or expert opinion.
They need practical ways to understand themselves, make better decisions and respond more effectively to the situations they face every day.
That’s why Mindologists exists.
To translate complex ideas into practical tools, insights and experiences that help people create better outcomes in the real world.
About
I believe better outcomes begin with better questions.
Most people already possess more capability than they realise.
Sometimes they simply need a different perspective, a practical framework or a trusted thinking partner to help them access it.
My approach combines behavioural science, practical experience and whole-system thinking to help people understand what may be influencing their decisions, behaviour and performance.
I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions.
Performance is personal.
What works for one person may not work for another.
That’s why curiosity remains at the heart of everything I do.
Because the obvious problem isn’t always the real problem.
Over the years I’ve had the privilege of working with organisations across business, healthcare, education, sport and the public sector.
About
Outside of work you’ll often find me on a golf course, exploring new ideas, creating tools and frameworks, or spending time with family.
Curiosity has always been my compass.
I believe awareness creates choice.
Choice requires courage.
Courage builds self-trust.
And self-trust creates movement.
Because life rarely changes when we wait for certainty.
It changes when we choose to participate.
Mindologists exists to help people think more clearly, understand themselves more fully and navigate life’s challenges with greater awareness, perspective and self-trust.
Whether you’re a leader, athlete, team or simply someone looking for a different way forward, you’re welcome here.
